• Zinc Stearate: Lubricant and anti-caking agent. It is used as an alternative if magnesium or calcium stearate are not compatible with APIs. • Calcium stearate: It has characteristics similar to those of magnesium stearate, it is used as a lubricant, flow agent and water repellent, for example, in the production of effervescent tablets it prevent the absorption of moisture.
• Aluminum Stearate: Gelling, anti-caking and suspending agent. Suitable as emulsion stabilizer and viscosifying agent for pharmaceutical creams and ointments.
