Pharmaceutical Excipients
High quality USP grade excipients for the pharmaceutical industry. They comply with KOSHER, HALAL, RSPO and EXCiPACT certifications among others.
Product list:
- Stearic Acid:This grade is a very fine quality of stearic acid of vegetable origin. It is used as a tableting and flow agent in pharmaceutical formulations. It complies with Ph.Eur & USP/NF regulations and their production is from a modern process of obtaining and purifying fatty acids (RBD: refining, bleaching and distillation). The widely known and classic method is by pressing. In formulations incompatible with Magnesium Stearate, high quality Stearic Acid is used as a substitute.
- Magnesium Stearate: It is the most widely used excipient in the production of coatings for tablets, capsules and powder premixes. Its high surface area allows a low dosage. It is also used as a lubricating agent, thickener, binder, release agent and emulsifier. Several references are handled depending on the complexity of the solid oral dosage.
- Zinc Stearate: Lubricant and anti-caking agent. It is used as an alternative if magnesium or calcium stearate are not compatible with APIs. It can also be used as a hydrophobic agent with antimicrobial properties for creams or as a stabilizer, as well as a release agent for pharmaceutical plastics.
- Calcium stearate: It has characteristics similar to those of magnesium stearate, it is used as a lubricant, flow agent and water repellent, for example, in the production of effervescent tablets it prevent the absorption of moisture.
- Aluminum Stearate: Gelling, anti-caking and suspending agent. Suitable as emulsion stabilizer and viscosifying agent for pharmaceutical creams and ointments.
- Sodium Stearate: Lubricating agent in the manufacture of tablets and capsules. Also, stabilizer of medicinal formulations.
Pigments and Dyes

- Iron Oxides: High purity pigments with low heavy metal content, absence of microbiological contamination according to EU/FDA, used for coated tablets, nutraceuticals, hard gel capsules and soft gel capsules.

- Natural Menthol in Crystals: Refreshing agent with strong mint aroma. Used in mouthwashes, ointments, balms, medicated creams, menthol creams, toothpaste and intimate gels among others.
Surfactants
Products that help other ingredients that normally do not mix to dissolve or disperse in one another. Also known as surfactants, they have the ability to alter the surface tension of water as cleaning agents, removing greasy components and dirt.

- Decyl Glucoside:Nonionic surfactant and emulsifier. Widely used in shampoos, liquid bath soap, cleansing lotions and personal care products. It has a good foaming performance and reduces the potential for irritation in the formulation.
- Lauryl glucoside: Non-ionic surfactant and emulsifier. It is known for its mild cleansing effect, providing care and hydration to the skin. Thanks to these properties, it is ideal for baby care products, as it does not cause irritation. It is commonly used in bath gels, facial cleansers, baby care products, sensitive skin care and liquid hand soaps.
- FinaGreen 3012: Patented product: Polyglycerin-3 (and) Polyglyceryl-3 Lactylate Laurate, with deep cleansing and moisturizing properties, has high HBL (hydrophilic) value, used as co-surfactant and foam booster. Offers emolliency and dispersing properties, broad spectrum antimicrobial efficacy. Used for skin care: creams, wet wipes, body washes. Hair care: shampoos, masks and hair conditioners. Toiletries: hand wash, toothpaste, and mouthwash. Household care: vegetable washing soaps and surface disinfectants.
- FinaGreen 3810: Patented product: Polyglycerin-3 (and) Polyglyceryl-3 Caprylate/Caprate/ Laurate/Lactylate, with deep cleansing and moisturizing properties, high HBL (hydrophilic) value, co-surfactant and foaming agent. Broad spectrum antimicrobial efficacy. Used for skin care: liquid soaps, shower gels, creams and sunscreens. Hair care: hair shampoos. Baby care: Baby cleansers and bath soaps.
- FinaGreen 1199: Sodium Lauryl Lactate, foam boosting agent, co-emulsifying, viscosity increasing, foam stabilizing agent, with medium HBL (hydrophilic). Due to its properties it is an alternative to strong surfactants that irritate the skin. With broad spectrum antimicrobial efficacy. Its applications are in body washes, shower gels, facial soaps, hand washes, baby soaps and liquid detergents in home care.
Emollients
Ingredients that help to provide smoothness and good skin appearance, promote lubrication and reduce skin sagging.

- FinaGreen 2810: Glyceryl Caprylate/ Caprate, is an emollient, co-emulsifier, viscosity enhancer. With antimicrobial effect, low HBL value, hydrophobic emulsifier, acts as a vehicle/solvent for organic compounds. Used in skin care: anti-acne creams, deodorants, antiperspirants. In hair care: anti-dandruff shampoo, bath oils, baby oils, hair oils.
- Butyl Stearate: It is an emollient that provides softness and elasticity to the skin. Its low viscosity allows to reduce and control the viscosity of cosmetics such as lipsticks, for a smooth application and greater attractiveness. It is used as a humectant and softener in creams, lotions, lipsticks and other personal care products.
- Dicaprylate/Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate: An emollient that provides a light, non-greasy, smooth, velvety feel. It is well absorbed and spreads quickly on the surface of the skin. It has excellent dispersing and dissolving properties for pigments and sunscreens.
Emulsifiers
Products that emulsify or solubilize oils in water / water in oils formulations in order to stabilize cosmetic products mixing the oil phase with the aqueous phase.

- Cyclopentasiloxane: Silicone that forms a thin film on the skin or hair, is not greasy, but helps to repel water which does not allow moisture to evaporate and provides emollient effect. It helps to improve the appearance, shine and manageability of hair. It is used in skin products, sunscreens, color cosmetics, hair care, lotions, facial makeup and rinse-off products.
- Dimethicone: Silicone most commonly used in cosmetics. Its function is to produce a surface film around the hair and on the skin to protect them with occlusive and emollient properties. It adds silky softness to hair formulations, improves dispersion and provides lubrication in lotions, is non-sticky, long lasting and improves water repellency. This product is recommended for hair care, skin care and cosmetic products.
- Sodium Stearate: O/W emulsifier, opacifier, gelling agent and viscosity modifier. Broad application in deodorant sticks as it forms a hard, solid stick, a solution of about 10% of PALMSTAR NAV (sodium stearate) forms a hard, solid gel under cold conditions.
- FinaGreen 2012: Glyceryl Mono Laurate is a hydrophobic emulsifier with emollient, moisturizing and soothing properties for the skin. With antimicrobial effect, low HBL value. Ideal for toiletries (hand wash, soaps and toothpaste), and personal care products such as body creams, butters, facial creams, lip balms, sunscreens, anti-stretch marks creams, antiperspirants, cleansing oils, and body washes.

- DavosLife E3: A vitamin E bioactive rich in tocotrienols, which has skin lightening properties not seen in alpha-tocopherol. It helps reduce redness and pigmentation of the skin after UV irradiation. In addition, it is used in hair products as it helps mitigate damage caused by oxidative stress. Used in anti-aging creams, lightening creams, sunscreens, facial serums, hair treatments and hair serums.
- Climbazole: A topical antifungal agent that is frequently used in the treatment of fungal skin infections such as dandruff and eczema. Therefore, it is mainly found in anti-dandruff hair products.
- Piroctone Olamine: An antifungal agent commonly used in shampoos and hair products to treat dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. It acts by inhibiting the growth of fungi, in particular Malassezia, the main cause of dandruff.
- Natural Essential Oils: These are natural compounds extracted from plants by distillation or cold pressing. They are known for their aromatic and therapeutic properties, and are widely used in cosmetics for their benefits for skin and hair. - Reconstituted Essential Oils: These are blends of natural and synthetic components that mimic the composition and aroma of essential oils. - Solvent / Solubilizer FinaGreen: Biodegradable raw materials of vegetable origin. Ideal for solubilizing flavors, fragrances and essential oils in aqueous formulations. Widely used in makeup removers, facial serums, facial cleansers, creams, foundations, mascara, liquid soaps, shampoos and wet wipes, among others.
- Solvent / Solubilizer Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT’s): Raw materials from palm oil or coconut palm with different caprylic / capric acid ratios that provide emollience, improve solubilization of oily substances, modify viscosity and transport the active ingredients into the formulation. Widely used in creams, serums, sunscreens, foundations, liquid lipsticks and hair care products among others.

Widely used in shampoos, facial cleansers, body washes, dishwashing liquids and baby care products, among others.
