During the first four years, SCALPEL devoted itself exclusively to the commercialization of Medical Refrigeration and Cold Chain equipment, used in the freezing, refrigeration and refrigerated transport of plasma, reagents, pharmaceutical and biological products. At the end of 2001, the Specialty Chemicals Division was created with the aim of promoting and selling in Colombia and neighbor countries value added raw material for the cosmetic, food, pharmaceutical, plastic, ink, paint and the petrochemical sectors in general.
